Christian worship did not begin in Rome in a church—it began in Israel among the people, the Hebrew Scriptures, the Torah, and the Traditions of the Jewish people. From the Psalms to the Lord’s Supper, from prayer to the biblical festivals, Christian worship is deeply rooted in Jewish soil. The Jewish Origins of Christian Worship explores the biblical and historical foundations that shaped the worship of Yeshua and His earliest followers. In this book you will discover: The Hebrew roots of Christian worship, prayer, and sacraments. How biblical feasts influenced the early followers to Messiah. The role of synagogue worship in shaping Christian practice. How the first believers worshiped as a Jewish community. What these ancient foundations mean for your faith today. Understand the past. Enrich your present. Worship with greater understanding.
